Background

The Young Leadership Council is the oldest independent young professionals’ organization in the country and has been around for over 30 years. The YLC has raised over $25 million to develop leadership through volunteer-created community projects in and around New Orleans since 1986. Through its mission and programs, the YLC attracts and retains young professionals in the New Orleans area.

In 2016, they approached Deep Fried Advertising with a need for an updated, responsive website. In continuing efforts to increase brand awareness and boost membership, Deep Fried Ads developed the YLC website to focus on membership, events, and to encourage visitors to get involved in one of their several volunteer-led projects. 

In commemoration of their 30th anniversary in 2016, Deep Fried Ads revamped the Proud to Call It Home logo as part of their #nolaproud campaign. We also designed the logo, invitation, and program for their 2016 Role Models Awards Gala celebrating an annual class of nominated leaders and their achievements in the community.
